WHAT IS THE SPEAK UP APP
The CUTIEs were trying to figure out what can be done about bullying as a whole. We realize that in this technology age, youth use their devices (phones, iPads, etc.) to record everything (positive and negative), the schools are even using devices as a part of the curriculum in the classrooms and outside. The girls thought what if there was an app that could be downloaded on all devices, school devices and personal, where acts of bullying could be recorded discreetly and sent to the appropriate personnel. We realize that kids often times don't report acts of bullying and youth violence for fear of retaliation but if there were a way to do it discreetly maybe more people would report and more children would be saved. The app would be free to download and use and would allow users to record audio and or video of the act and add a description of what was seen or said and then it will be sent to the proper authorities or personnel in real time!!!!
What We Need & What You Get
The app company (DityApps) has agreed to sponsor most of the project because they believe in the cause. The total cost is around 10k. We are already at the halfway mark!!!! What we have left is $5000 and once the money is raised the project can be completed and ready to go live in 30 days!!! We are trying to get this up and running before the next school year so the app can be available on school devices when the school year starts!! For donations of $10 or more you can receive an anti bullying t-shirt or Pandora inspired bracelet to show your support for this cause. For larger gifts of $100 or more there are other incentives such as free movie passes, and gift cards.

While we truly appreciate your gifts and donations we do realize not everyone is able to give that wants to. We still appreciate your efforts and want you to know that you can still join the cause by sharing this information with friends and family, school officials and those who can help us make an impact on this horrible epidemic of bullying and youth violence. We cannot stand to loose another young person to suicide or youth violence. Please help us as we continue to find solutions to these acts that are claiming so many lives!!!
